Operations and Maintenance Services for the Elizabeth Mine Superfund site. The Elizabeth Mine site has been on the National Priorities List since 2001. The project involves operations and maintenance of remediation infrastructure including two tailing piles (TP-1 and TP-2), a waste rock pile (TP-3), and two 19th century copperas factories. The site has undergone EPA-initiated remediation since 2003, including waste rock relocation, diversion channels, toe drain systems, cover systems, and a Passive Treatment System (PTS) that has been operational since 2019. The PTS includes an Anoxic Limestone Drain (ALD), sediment basin, wetland, and vertical flow pond. These operations and maintenance services are being solicited to support the ongoing management and operation of these remediation systems at the site.
