Asphaltic Concrete Materials and Services, Continuing Supply

Leon County is seeking qualified vendors to provide Asphaltic Concrete Materials and Services on a continuing basis. The County intends to use the asphaltic concrete materials and other services specified within this contract on resurfacing projects, routine road maintenance projects, road construction, in-place asphalt services for various County facilities and any other County approved applications which best serves the interest of the citizens of Leon County. All work within this project is to be provided on an on-call basis with both the County and the Contractor complying with the provisions of the written Notice to Proceed document. The primary contractor or the subcontractor performing the work shall be prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Flexible Paving Work Class. The pre-qualifications shall be current and valid at the time of the bid submittal. The intent of the County is to award contracts to multiple vendors to ensure the County can effectively and efficiently meet project needs and best serve the citizens of Leon County. Work assignments will be made at the sole discretion of the County based on factors including, but not limited to, vendor availability, responsiveness, capacity, project schedule, and the vendor’s ability to meet the County’s requirements. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00am in the Leon County Purchasing conference room located at 1800-3 North Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Attendance is mandatory to be eligible for award.
